Brundle Fly Action Figure Presumably, McFarlane Toys designed this figure by combining an action figure of Jeff Goldblum and an action figure of a housefly in some sort of teleporter accident. How else do you get this kind of detail? The McFarlane crew got down the grotesque Cronenbergian transformation of Dr. Seth Brundle perfectly, with ocher folds of skin, wisps of hair, feelers, and those sad, bulbous eyes. The 7-inch figure offers much more articulation than most pieces in the Movie Maniacs line, with joints at the shoulders, neck, hips, and wrists.
